The Alcoa City School System has a strong commitment to the health, safety, and welfare of all of its students. The use of illegal drugs is a potential problem for all students; however, unique pressures and risks exist for those students who participate in TSSAA-sanctioned athletics, school sponsored cheerleading, and parking on campus. A proactive approach, in the form of a Random Drug Testing Program (the "Program") for deterrence, has been instituted to help to make Alcoa High School drug free.
