Tornado Club

This club is a recognition program for students who maintain a “B” average, have perfect attendance, or students who show significant improvement in academics over a period of time. Each year students have the opportunity to attend the Tornado Club trip in the month of May. Trips include New York, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Walt Disney World, and Universal Studios in Orlando, Islands of Adventure, Sea World and Coco Beach. Students have the opportunity to raise funds throughout the year for the trip.

Many spots are available for the Washington D.C. trip! Please see Mr. Fox if you are interested! Candy money needs to start coming in, especially if you haven't turned any in yet. We will have a student and a parent meeting soon.

Tornado Club & Washington D.C. Announcement
This year students who participate in the Tornado Club will have the opportunity to go on the Washington D.C. TRIP on May 12th through 17th 2009.

To join the Tornado Club a student must maintain a “B” average, teacher recommendation, or have perfect attendance. However, students in the Tornado Club must avoid discipline issues within the school. Membership Dues are required for Tornado Club members ($4.00) and we ask each member to purchase a T-shirt from the office ($10.00).
The trip to Washington includes round trip motor coach transportation, four nights hotel accommodations, and 13 meals. Highlights of the trip will include a visit to Colonial Williamsburg (with an evening program "The Hauntings of Colonial Williamsburg), a tour of Monticello, Guided tours of Washington D.C. (including a tour of either the White House or the Capitol), Washington National Cathedral, The National Holocaust Museum, Evening tour of monuments including the Lincoln, Jefferson, Vietnam, Roosevelt, Korean War, World War II monuments, a tour of Arlington National Cemetery, and a visit to the museums of the Smithsonian. The trip also includes admission to Busch Gardens, admission to Water Country USA, and Dinner at The Hard Rock Cafe plus much more.
