CLASSROOM BEHAVIOR
Each teacher will prepare and display classroom rules that have been approved by the principal. Students must come to each class prepared and ready to learn. Failure to bring pencil and paper, materials and other items required by the teacher will result in a poor learning process. Students are expected to vigorously pursue assignments. Students who refuse to work or put little or no effort into the learning process will not produce the best results. Work habits will be reported to parents along with other classroom results. The staff will be implementing a program called Peaceable Schools. This program is designed to assist students to solve and handle problems when they arise. The teacher will be able to provide additional information about how the program works in their classroom. Aspects of the program are student rights; responsibilities, and the rules that go along with these rights and responsibilities.
