FIELD TRIPS
FIELD TRIPS
Field trips within the city and to nearby points of interest are scheduled throughout the school year. These trips are designed to supplement different aspects of the classroom curriculum and to introduce students to the resources of the community. Parents will receive notices of field trips well in advance of the scheduled trip date and will be asked to sign field trip permission forms. A parent may sign one field trip permission form for the entire year to cover various times classes walk to the park. Students that have exhibited behavior problems in the school setting may be denied permission to attend or may be allowed to go on field trips only if a parent accompanies the student. Teachers will make arrangements with the parents at least 24 hours in advance of the trip.
