I am a native of East Tennessee who joined the Alcoa City School System in July of 2016 as the Director of Career and Technical Education.  I have worked in career and technical education for over two decades.  My professional roles have included registered nurse, nursing supervisor, health science education teacher, TDOE career and technical education CORE consultant, and district-level career and technical education facilitator.  I have been a registered nurse since 1995 and entered the education sector in 1998. In 2018-19 I served as the Coordinated School Health Coordinator role for one year.  In 2019-20, in addition to my duties as CTE Director, I took on the roles of Federal Programs Director and Director of School Nurses. In my spare time, I enjoy working on the farm with my husband and wildlife photography in Yellowstone National Park.
