College-Ready Testing for Juniors (Alcoa City Schools uses ACT for this test) |

ACT is a national college readiness exam that measures high school achievement and is used in the college admissions process. Students are tested in the spring of their junior year and have an opportunity to retake in the fall of senior year. |

W-APT is given to students who speak a language other than English at home in order to determine the English language support they need at school. |

Pre-K & K Growth Portfolio |

Required for schools with a Voluntary Pre-K (VPK) program, these student growth portfolios allow teachers to demonstrate students' progress toward mastery of ELA and math standards. |

Kindergarten Entry Inventory (KEI) |
Requirement for recipients of the Preschool Development Grant (PDG). |
KEI provides a standards-aligned profile of each student's skills, knowledge, and competencies related to kindergarten readiness as they enter kindergarten in Tennessee. |

ACT Senior Retake |
ACT is a national college readiness exam that measures high school achievement and is used in the college admissions process. This retake is optional and free for those students who took the ACT as juniors |

Advanced Placement Exams |
These exams are administered in the spring at the conclusion of each AP course. The course may count for college credit at participating universities, depending on the student score. Students are required to pre-register. |
