The Alcoa City Schools Foundation is an independently operated non-profit organization established to assist the Alcoa City Schools system in improving the quality of education. The foundation provides the means for you to invest in today’s youth, tomorrow’s leaders, and the future of our community. By contributing, you will be a part of our continuing effort to achieve excellence in our schools by helping to fund projects and activities that would not be possible within the normal school budget. Donations are tax-deductible.

Thanks to the generosity of the Alcoa community, the foundation financed over $110,000 of projects during the 2025-2026 school year!

Projects submitted had goals ranging from enhancing playground accessibility for all students, 3D printing ziggurats and ancient artifacts in 1st grade, to helping students become proficient with interdisciplinary project-based learning integrating literacy, technology, science, math, engineering, collaborative speaking, and listening skills.

The foundation also contributed to our Arts programs by replacing and repairing some of the much-loved instruments used in the Alcoa music programs and funding chairs that promote proper singing posture, breath control, and vocal projection for our Intermediate students.

The funds you donate are used to enrich the educational experience of all students in the Alcoa City School system through these projects. The cumulative effect of the additional resources these projects provide as our students advance throughout their education is immeasurable.
