No School on Labor Day

No School on Monday, Sept. 7

Alcoa City Schools will be closed on Monday, September 7th, in observance of Labor Day. Classes resume on Tuesday, Sept. 8. Have a safe and restful long weekend!

📢 REMINDER: No School for Students on Friday, August 21st

Alcoa City Schools will be conducting a Professional Development training day for all teachers and staff on Friday, August 21st. There will be NO SCHOOL for students. We look forward to seeing all of our students back in class on Monday!

NO SCHOOL JULY 21, 22

Due to the continued statewide disruptions of the Skyward student information system, Alcoa City Schools has made the difficult decision to delay the opening of school until Thursday, July 23.  All Alcoa City Schools will be closed on Tuesday, July 21, and Wednesday, July 22, 2026.  All teachers and staff will report.
