Covid testing will be available, within each school clinic, to symptomatic staff and students, with prior parent/guardian approval, and/or in the event of an exposure to a positive case in order to leave quarantine early (based on current TDH guidance).
Parents/guardians are encouraged to monitor student health and wellness and keep students at home if they display any symptoms, including temperatures at or above 100.4℉. Students with temperatures at or above 100.4℉ will be isolated, and parents/guardians will be notified and required to pick up students.
Hand sanitizer will be available in classrooms and common areas.
Masks are encouraged for all staff members and are recommended but not required for students.
Teachers and staff will encourage good hygiene, including hand washing before and after classes/activities.
Students and staff are encouraged to stay home if feeling sick or running a fever.
Until new guidance is received from the CDC, water fountains will remain closed and students will be encouraged to use personal water bottles at water filling stations.
Field trips are reviewed and will be approved by the Director of Schools on a case by case basis.
