About me
I have been extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to have served as the principal of Alcoa High School for the past five years from 2020-2025. Prior to coming to Alcoa City Schools, I served as an educator in Anderson County Schools for 15 years.
I began my career as an English teacher and taught both middle grades and high school English before working as an instructional coach and ultimately moving into school administration at the high school level. I've spent the last 9 years serving as a lead principal, and now will be working in the Alcoa City Schools Educator Support Center as the Director of 6-12 Education, Accountability, and Assessment. I'm excited to transition into this new role and continue to support the amazing community, students, staff, and administrators that we have here in Alcoa. Each day, I'm grateful that my family and I have become part of such a wonderful school community. Go Tornadoes!
