Psychology
Welcome!
School psychologists support teaching and learning through applying expertise in mental health, learning, and behavior. We partner with students, families, teachers, school administrators, and others to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments.
Pam Haggard and Rob Richardson are Alcoa School District’s School Psychologists. Pam works primarily at the preschool, elementary, and high school. Rob works primarily at the intermediate and middle school. This site provides links to our individual pages as well as to resources for students, parents, and staff members.
Mission Statement
We are committed to promoting access for all Alcoa students to the learning, behavior, and mental health support needed to thrive in school, home, and our community. We play a distinct role in using assessment data to make important educational decisions regarding educational programming, such as helping teams determine what special education services might be most appropriate for students.
