Welcome to my staff profile!

I am honored to serve Alcoa City Schools as the District Student Information Systems and State Reporting Specialist. Throughout my career, I have worked in technology, digital strategy, higher education, and student services, always focusing on improving processes, solving complex problems, and helping people succeed through the effective use of technology and data.

Most recently, I worked at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, supporting student recruitment and success through data management, communication systems, and process improvement. That experience, along with my time serving as Registrar at Alcoa City Schools, has strengthened my appreciation for the importance of accurate student information and exceptional service to students, families, and staff.

Alcoa is also home for my family. My wife, Carly, is the music teacher at Alcoa Middle School, and our two boys are proud students there. Outside of my district role, I enjoy coaching football at Alcoa Middle School. Being involved as both a staff member and a parent gives me a unique perspective, and I truly love being a part of this community. It is an honor to be a member of the Tornado family 🌪️. 

In my role, I support our schools by maintaining the Skyward Student Information System, assisting with student enrollment and records, supporting state reporting requirements, and helping staff troubleshoot data and system questions. I also work with Family Access, online enrollment, scheduling, report cards, and other Skyward functions that help our schools operate efficiently throughout the year.

Whether you're a parent with questions about student records or a staff member needing assistance with Skyward or student data, I am always happy to help. My goal is to provide dependable support while helping ensure our schools have the accurate information and reliable systems they need to best serve every student.
