We are excited to welcome Michael Bradburn as the new Principal of Alcoa Elementary School!

Mr. Bradburn returns to AES after serving as the Senior Director of Secondary Literacy with the Tennessee Department of Education. Prior to that, he spent 17 years at Alcoa Elementary as a Kindergarten teacher and Instructional Coach (2004–2021).

We are excited to announce that Dr. Jonathan Grissom has been selected as the new Principal of Pershing Academy of Learning. Dr. Grissom currently serves as an 8th-grade science teacher at Alcoa Middle School and brings experience from his previous roles at Alcoa High School and Collierville City Schools. We look forward to his leadership in this new role and the impact he will have on the Pershing Academy of Learning.

Last night, Thursday, April 16th, we celebrated the 2025/26 Alcoa City Schools Employee Excellence Awards. Congratulations to all our recipients! Your passion and dedication are the heartbeat of our district, and we are so proud to have you on our team.

This generous support funds creative classroom projects and innovative experiences that challenge our students daily.
