Faculty Profile
Welcome to second grade! I’m Sarah Jenkins, and I’m thrilled to be your child’s teacher this year. I have a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Michigan State University, an endorsement in Early Childhood Reading, and seven years of teaching experience. Second grade is an amazing year of growth, and I’m dedicated to creating a safe, inspiring environment where every student can thrive.
Class Information
Our second-grade curriculum focuses on building independent thinkers and collaborative problem-solvers through engaging reading units, hands-on math, and interactive science experiments. Clear home-school communication is key, so please join our Class Dojo page as soon as possible. We’ll use it daily to celebrate student growth, share photos, and post weekly updates and reminders.
