The Alcoa community and its schools were an important part of my education, and now I am fortunate enough to serve as an ACS educator and leader.  As a student, I attended Alcoa from 3rd through 8th grade before moving to the county. After graduating from William Blount High School and The University of Tennessee, I returned to Alcoa City Schools in 1997 to teach.
I taught third, fourth, and fifth grade for 10 years at Alcoa Elementary School before stepping into the role of curriculum/testing coordinator and then assistant principal for AES.  In 2015, our incredible 3rd-5th grade staff and faculty transitioned to the former middle school building and opened Alcoa Intermediate School, where I served as the principal from 2015-2021.  Since 2021, I have served as the K-5 Supervisor for Alcoa City Schools.  This is my 25th year working with Alcoa's students and families.
