Careers In Motion
Careers in Motion is a Pathways TN/TDOE grant-funded project awarded to Alcoa City Schools, Blount County Schools, and Maryville City Schools in order to promote high-wage, high-demand, high-skill career and technical education related programs to students across our county.
In addition, Alcoa City Schools applied for and received a Governor's Early Literacy Foundation grant that put a collection of K-5 career exploration books on the bus.
The bus started rolling in May and was officially launched at the Governor's Early Literacy Foundation Book Bus Bash, held in Rhea County On September 16th.
The bus contains Sphero robots, microscope sets, SnapCircuit kits, human torso models, 3D printers and pens, and a host of other engaging activities, and relatable books, for students to explore careers.
