Hand sanitizer will be available in classrooms and common areas.
All staff and adult visitors will be encouraged to wear masks. Visitors should check with schools prior to arriving to each school and may be asked to make an appointment.
Students will be encouraged to consistently maintain good hygiene, including frequent hand-washing.
School nurses will be available to provide PPE and hand-washing training for staff.
Desk and tables will be wiped down in classrooms and common areas as frequently as possible.
Desks will be spread as much as possible, but 3 feet cannot be guaranteed with space limitations.
Cleaning practices will be enhanced to include more frequent and deeper cleaning.
Each school will use an electrostatic disinfectant sprayer as frequently as possible to disinfect all classrooms and common areas.
Covid testing will be available in school clinics to symptomatic staff and students (whose parent/guardian has provided prior approval) and to those who may have been impacted by quarantine and who wish to leave quarantine after negative testing on day six.
While staff will work with students and available resources to create distancing opportunities, due to the nature of our buildings and the effort to resume school for our students’, families’, and community’s sake, we cannot guarantee full social distancing, recommended mask wearing, absence of large groups, or any other CDC recommended practices.
