Social Distancing and Face Coverings
ALL SCHOOLS
Effective 10/20/21-Masks will be encouraged for staff and visitors but are not mandated.
GRADES PRE-K THROUGH 5 (AES & AIS)
Students in grades Pre-K through 5 are recommended, but not required, to wear a face covering during congested transitions (changing classes, dismissal) and when working in close proximity to peers and adults.
Every effort will be made in elementary (K-2) and intermediate (3-5) schools to keep students in small cohorts and minimize mixing between groups. Teachers will implement social distancing, strategic seating/grouping, and extra hand-washing/hygiene as often as feasible. Posters will be placed throughout the buildings.

GRADES 6 THROUGH 12 (AMS & AHS)
